Our Mission
"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'”
—Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
WELCOME
The PEACE (Partnership of Emory, Yale, and Africa for Cancer and Education) program is a partnership between Emory and Yale pathologists and pathologists from African countries geared towards increasing transatlantic collaborations and global education. The program is set around a yearly educational curriculum consisting of around ten presentations on the pathologic diseases affecting various organ systems. It is a non-profit program supported by volunteers who believe in global education.
One of the few silver linings of the COVID-19 pandemic is that the world feels closer with the increased use of virtual platforms. The current virtual world we live in has offered us a tool to connect and collaborate despite the geographic distances.
Thank you for visiting our website. Please take a moment to check out our education page. To receive timely announcements on education events, we encourage you to become a member of PEACE.
