The Emory University Adult Reconstruction Surgery Fellowship offers specialized orthopaedic surgery experience featuring advanced training in all aspects of both uncomplicated and complex problems of the hip and knee. Experience in minimally invasive and alternative approaches to the hip and knee (e.g. direct anterior approach for total hip arthroplasty), unicondylar knee replacement, arthroscopic surgery of the hip, hip resurfacing, management of femoroacetabular impingement, revision hip and knee replacement, navigation and other state-of-the-art techniques will be included. The fellow will function as Senior Associate in the Department of Orthopaedics, thus having full clinical and operative privileges.
The fellow will be active clinically with a high volume surgical experience and function as an educator in the department with the expectation of teaching residents in the clinic and operating room. The fellowship will also include weekly conferences, journal club and research opportunities.
Applicants must have successfully completed a U.S. or Canadian Orthopaedic Residency training program and be Board eligible as well as have the ability to retrieve a full-unrestricted Georgia medical license and DEA.
