The Community Engagement Award recognizes Department of Medicine faculty who have made significant contributions to fostering a DOM community and climate that allows all members to thrive by leveraging service, teaching, mentoring, advocacy, and research efforts.

This award recognizes faculty who have demonstrated outstanding service and citizenship to the Department of Medicine. One award will be given in each of the three faculty ranks: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor.

Shanthi V. Sitaraman Silver Pear Mentoring Award
