What we're doing

• Since its inception of the Imagine, Innovate, and Impact (I³) awards in 2018, the program has received 290 applications and has awarded 84 awards totaling more than $4M. Previous rounds have included awards highlighting transformational research ideas (I³ WOW! Research awards), novel ideas in medical education (I³ Education awards), inventors and entrepreneurs (I³ Venture Research Awards), interdisciplinary team collaboration (I³ Nexus Awards), collaboration with the Woodruff Health Sciences Center, the Provost’s Office, Kaiser Permanente Georgia, Georgia Tech and others (I³ Collaborations Awards), acceleration of novel COVID-19 research (COVID Catalyst I³ Awards) and awards supporting infrastructure to build interdisciplinary collaboration (I³ Teams Awards).
