
Associate Director, Faculty Advancement and Engagement
Amy leads a team responsible for designing, supporting, and implementing strategic programs that foster faculty success, professional growth, and engagement. She works collaboratively to develop and implement initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, faculty development, and career advancement opportunities. Her work includes guiding efforts to optimize faculty onboarding, support professional growth, and cultivate a strong sense of community to foster greater faculty engagement and retention.
Amy’s professional experience includes 15 years working with residents and fellows in graduate medical education. She previously served as the associate director for education programs in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory, a position she held for five years. Prior to joining Emory, Amy worked for the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL for 13 years. Before transitioning to academic medicine, she held various roles in information technology.
Amy earned a master’s degree in information systems from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL and a master’s degree in applied linguistics from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. She also graduated with a doctor of philosophy degree from the University of South Florida. Amy graduated from the Emory Radiology Leadership Academy (RLA) in 2021.
