As Chair of the Molecular Pharmacology Division, Dr. Hepler will run one of the biggest divisions within ASPET and play a key role in determining programming for the Society’s annual meeting, amongst other duties. He has previously served on the Executive Committee of the Molecular Pharmacology Division for a number of years and is an internationally-renowned leader in the study of G proteins and their regulators.
The Emory Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology has a long history of ASPET leadership. Five faculty members from the department have served as ASPET President over the past 60 years, including most recently Eddie Morgan, who served as President in 2018-2019.
