A Southern California native, Noreen has enjoyed being in Atlanta and at Emory/CHOA. She completed her undergraduate education at UC Berkeley and pursued an MPH in Epidemiology at UCLA before beginning her medical training. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.

Lauren completed both her medical school education and Pediatrics residency in Louisville, KY. She is delighted to have matched into the Endocrinology fellowship at Emory. Lauren looks forward to exploring the city and spending time with friends and family.

Shirley was originally born in China, and has moved around different parts of the United States. She completed her undergraduate degree at Emory and is excited to be back in Atlanta! She enjoys cooking, crafts, advocacy, and the outdoors, and is looking forward to exploring more of Atlanta's diverse neighborhoods and foods.

It has been a wonderful year training at Emory and living in Atlanta. I look forward to two years of research experience after a year full of clinical experience that has enhanced and strengthened my pediatric endocrinology skills. Atlanta feels like home now and has so much to offer in terms of outdoor activities, food, and social events!

Amara was born in Bangladesh and raised in South Florida. Although she gained appreciation for season changes during medical school and residency, she is elated to return closer to home where she can enjoy mild winters and more sunshine. Amara is excited for the opportunity to train at Emory, work with public health advocates, and explore Atlanta's rich culture, parks, and food scene.
