Clinical Overview
The Emory Voice Center offers the latest innovations in voice therapies and effective management options for laryngeal conditions of all types. The center is currently staffed by a multidisciplinary team of fellowship-trained laryngologists, speech language pathologists, and singing specialists.
The Emory Voice Center has consistently been at the forefront of treatment in its field. Examples include the use of the pulsed KTP laser to treat vocal cord lesions in the awake patient; providing vocal health services for musicians in partnership with MusiCares, the nonprofit foundation established by the Recording Academy (the organization responsible for the GRAMMY Awards); injecting paralyzed vocal cords to restore the voice; and botulinum toxin injections for neurologic voice disorders.
