Fellows will rotate at multiple Emory facilities through the city of Atlanta. Each location will provide a unique training experience for the fellow. Inpatient procedures will be performed at the Emory University Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital (EUOSH), an 80-bed orthopaedic specialty hospital. The nursing staff, radiology techs, and therapists are specialized to care for orthopaedic surgery patients, and an on-call hospitalist helps manage any medical issues that arise. Outpatient surgeries will be performed at the ambulatory surgery center at Executive Park, an ambulatory facility designed to optimize outpatient surgery. The fellow will also spend time at Grady Memorial Hospital, a public, Level I trauma center which provides exposure to both straightforward and complex foot and ankle trauma and post-traumatic deformity.
