The Division of Rheumatology is comprised of clinical and basic science faculty who serve the clinical needs of the Emory Clinic, Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown, Grady Memorial Hospital and the Atlanta VA Medical Center. 

Many of our physicians have particular interests in the broad field of rheumatic disorders, including:

  • Rheumatoid Arthritis

  • Lupus

  • Psoriatic Arthritis

  • Scleroderma

  • Sarcoidosis

  • Myositis

  • Sjogren’s Syndrome

  • Gout

  • Polymyalgia Rheumatica

  • Giant Cell Arteritis

  • Ankylosing Spondylitis

  • Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (Wegener’s)

  • IgG4 Disease

  • Raynaud’s phenomenon

  • Arthritis with inflammatory bowel disease

Utilizing the most up-to-date treatment regimens, the Division of Rheumatology at Emory University focuses on the management of symptoms related to more than 100 types of arthritis and connective tissue diseases including lupus, vasculitis, rheumatoid arthritis, myositis, and scleroderma.
