Dr. Mobolanle Balogun (MBBS, MPH, FMCPH, FWACP) is a faculty in the Department of Community Health and Primary Care, College of Medicine, University of Lagos and a consultant public health physician to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital. Her research interests are in reproductive health and epidemiology of infectious diseases particularly HIV. She has worked previously as a research physician in a large shanty settlement with high-risk population groups in Lagos, Nigeria to provide HIV/STIs prevention interventions through funding from AIDS Prevention Initiative of Nigeria. Currently, she is a site co-investigator on an NIH/NICHD grant (UH3HD096920) aimed to evaluate two combination interventions, each with mHealth and Peer Navigation components, among high-risk young men and youth living with HIV across multiple sites in Nigeria.
