Director of International Programs
Christopher Martin, MBA, is currently a Senior Associate Director of Programs at Emory University School of Medicine’s Division of Infectious Diseases, responsible for administratively directing Dr. Ofotokun’s Emory-Nigeria Fogarty HIV Research Training Program, an International epidemiological Database to Evaluate AIDS (IeDEA) award, an NIH R01 to study antiretroviral Bone Loss in Lagos, Nigeria, as well as The Atlanta RECOVER (Researching COVID to Enhance Recovery) Clinical Research Site. As a college alumni of Emory University, Chris began his career in a molecular biology research lab studying Type 2 Diabetes in the division of Nephrology. During his 10 years in the lab, Chris obtained an MBA from Georgia State, and transitioned into research administration at Emory. Over the next 8 years, Chris rose to the position of Post-Award Manager in the Department of Medicine Research Administrations Services group, before accepting his current position in 2020.
