The Emory Department of Emergency Medicine Section of Prehospital and Disaster Medicine is dedicated to the improved health and welfare of the community by promoting excellence in out-of-hospital care, preparedness, and injury prevention
Vision
The Section of Prehospital and Disaster Medicine aspires to serve the community’s health and preparedness through excellence in design and oversight of emergency medical services, the education of learners of all levels, and innovative research. The Section will serve as a resource of expertise at home and abroad.
