We will accept applications for the 3-year specialty program (PG Y-2 to PG Y-4) with a required completion of an intern year at the accredited institution of your choice. If you are interested in applying to our Residency Program, please use the ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) at your medical school. Each ERAS application will be carefully considered and valued on its own merit.
Residency Interviews
If selected for an interview, you will be contacted by this office. Our interview season is November - January. We have a deadline of November 30th for final applications. Once again, thank you for your interest in our program and if you have any additional questions please email us.

Medical Students
Electives:
Interested in rotating with us? Emory University only offers elective rotations for medical students. Apply through VSAS.
If you schedule an elective with the Office of Clinical Education, please email our office ASAP for details and rotation information.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency, you must have graduated from a U.S. allopathic or osteopathic medical school, or an accredited international medical school.
Preliminary Year (PGY-1): A completion of a transitional, preliminary medicine or similar PGY-1 year before starting the PM&R training is required.
Other Requirements
Medical Licensing: You must possess the necessary credentials to obtain a medical license in the state where the fellowship is located.
Application Materials: You must submit a completed application to AAMC Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), which could include (but not limited to) a curriculum vitae (CV), a personal statement, letters of recommendation, USMLE/COMLEX scores, research and scholarly activity and other professional attributes/awards.
International Graduates: If you are an international medical graduate, you will need a valid ECFMG certificate. J-1 visas for international medical graduates are offered.
