Overview
Mark Mai, MD MHS is a pediatric intensivist who is also board certified in clinical informatics. He completed both his critical care and informatics training at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where he also completed residency. Dr. Mais primary academic interests focus on the implementation of predictive analytics models into the acute care setting in pediatrics. He collaborates closely with data scientists, machine learning researchers, and human factors engineers across the Children's and Emory campuses. He is also interested in using electronic health record (EHR) data to improve medical education and to accelerate quality improvement in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU).
