Students
The Emory Primary Care Consortium (EPCC) recruits faculty advisors to the Emory Primary Care Progress (PCP) team from the following Emory departments or programs:
- Emory Department of Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine
- Emory General Internal Medicine
- Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing
- Emory Physician Assistant Program
Faculty advisors serve as advisors and mentors for the Emory Chapter of Primary Care Progress. Each faculty advisor helps identify an Emory PCP Team Lead from their program each academic year, advertises PCP events to their community, and encourages their students and faculty to participate in PCP events.
Emory’s Primary Care Consortium provides support for the Emory PCP Lead Faculty Advisor (Erica Webb) to serve as the main contact for the Emory PCP Team members.
Faculty advisors are an essential part of the development and sustainability of the Emory PCP Team and team leaders, as well as the health and wellness of the national PCP organization and communities.
