Mediterranean Emergency Medicine Congress 2025
CAEC is excited to announce its collaboration with MEMC 2025 in Budapest. We will be organizing a dynamic 3.5-hour track on Saturday morning, August 16. Third Annual Poisoning and Trauma Injury Conference
Join us on July 15-16, 2025, for the Third Annual Poisoning and Trauma Injury Conference! Day one will feature case-based updates in clinical toxicology and environmental health, while day two will focus on managing chemical, radiological, nuclear, and explosive emergencies.This conference is a collaborative effort between the University of Georgia, Emory University, Caucasus Medical Center, Georgian Emergency Medicine Physician Association, and the Middle East and North Africa Clinical Toxicology Association. 1st Annual Clinical Toxicology Update Conference
The Department of Emergency Medicine at the American University of Beirut (AUB), in collaboration with Emory University School of Medicine's Department of Emergency Medicine, is hosting the 1st Annual Clinical Toxicology Update Conference. Republic of Georgia Seminar on Poisoning and Trauma Injury Prevention and Care 2024
The 2nd Annual Georgian Seminar on Poisoning and Trauma Injury Prevention and Care took place at the Caucasus Medical Center in Tbilisi, Georgia July 25-26, 2024. Dr. Ziad Kazzi, Co-Director of the Emory Emergency Medicine's Center for Advanced Emergency Care (CAEC), organized the conference with the Caucasus Medical Center, the University of Georgia, and the Georgian Emergency Medicine Physician Association (GEMPA). The CAEC Level 3 program participant, Dr. Otar Dikhaminjia was the co-chair of the conference along with Prof. Amiran Gamkhrelidze (the University of Georgia), Dr. George Gotsadze (President of GEMPA) and Dr. Nino Butkhikridze (board member of GEMPA and Faculty Member of the Georgian American University).
The Clinical Toxicology and Trauma themes are core components of the Center for Advanced Emergency Care’s mission and objectives. This partnership builds on decades of collaboration between Emory University and the Republic of Georgia in emergency medicine, public health, environmental health, and infectious diseases. We will continue to strive to positively impact the public health of Georgians through deep and meaningful partnerships that implement locally relevant and driven solutions and strategies.
