Welcome to Emory Vascular Surgery, a division of the Department of Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. We are a team of board-certified vascular surgeons and endovascular specialists who are committed to providing excellent patient care, promoting overall vascular health, pioneering innovative clinical research, and training the best vascular surgeons in the world. Our division has a long history of excellence and innovation in the field of vascular surgery. We offer a full range of services for patients with arterial and venous diseases, including open, endovascular, and hybrid procedures. We also have expertise in complex revascularization, dialysis access, thoracic outlet syndrome, carotid disease and stroke prevention, aortic aneurysms and dissections, peripheral arterial disease and limb salvage, vascular trauma, and venous disorders such as varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. Our large group of experienced surgeons treat patients in multiple Emory hospitals in addition to the Atlanta VA Medical Center and Grady Memorial Hospital.
We are proud to be part of the Emory Healthcare system, which is ranked among the nation's best hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. We have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, including hybrid operating rooms, catheterization labs, non-invasive vascular labs and advanced imaging modalities. We also collaborate with other specialties within Emory, such as cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neurology, radiology, hematology/oncology, and others to provide comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for our patients.
Our division is also dedicated to advancing the field of vascular surgery through cutting-edge research and education. We have several ongoing clinical trials and research projects that aim to improve the outcomes and quality of life of patients with vascular diseases. We also have a robust training program that includes a five-year integrated vascular surgery residency and a two-year vascular surgery fellowship. Our trainees receive unparalleled exposure to a wide variety of vascular cases and learn from our experienced faculty members who are leaders in their respective areas of expertise.
