Jennifer M. Spangle, PhD

Dr. Spangle obtained a Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Arizona. She then earned a PhD in Virology at Harvard Medical School and Harvard University, followed by postdoctoral training at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School as an American Cancer Society Levi Denim Fellow.
Dr. Spangle joined Emory as an Assistant Professor in 2019, where her laboratory is focused on understanding how signaling pathways such as PI3K rewire the epigenome and exploiting this information to develop durable combination therapies for the treatment of cancers characterized by aberrant PI3K activation.
