myLIFE social engagement groups are designed for adults 18 years and older who:
- have received an autism spectrum diagnosis
- are independent and need limited or no support in navigating the day
- are interested in meeting other autistic individuals with similar interests and abilities
- seek to learn how to better relate to others
- are open/comfortable in receiving feedback from peers and clinical supervisors
- are willing to try to learn new ways of behaving and thinking
Applying for the Program
Individuals interested in exploring any Emory Autism Center service must first go through the general intake process by completing the Initial Interest Intake Form. At the end of that form, you will be asked to schedule a time for a phone call with one of the Emory Autism Center’s Patient Care Coordinators to review and discuss your needs in more detail. Upon completion of the call, the Patient Care Coordinator will add you to the myLIFE listserv. This alerts us of your interest, and you will be invited to join us for our next myLIFE Information meeting where we will discuss the upcoming myLIFE session.
We look forward to meeting you!
