Session Schedule
The myLIFE program runs two 10-week sessions each year to match Emory's semester calendar, and one 6-8-week summer session.
- Fall (September - December)
- Spring (January - April)
- Summer (June - July)
Members sign up on a per-session basis (and are invited to join additional sessions during each new enrollment period).
myLIFE Groups/Activities
myLIFE offers clinical groups, support groups, and recreational groups.
- It is most beneficial for new myLIFE members join a clinical group where our clinical team can best learn about your strengths, support areas for growth and help build additional skills (our clinical team will assign you to a group).
- Members may then elect to choose any additional support groups and/or recreational clubs.
Our clinical groups, support groups and recreational clubs each meet on a weekly basis (at the same designated time each week).
Information Meeting
myLIFE offers prospective adults and their families the opportunity to join us for a myLIFE Information Meeting to learn about the program.
- The Information Meeting is not mandatory but provides a space to learn about general activities, requirements and fees.
- All meetings are held via Zoom.
- Meetings occur about 6-8 weeks prior to each session to allow time for applications to be returned.

Application Process
- All prospective applicants are asked to complete a full Application packet
- After review by our Clinical Team, we will contact you to schedule a myLIFE Intake where we can learn more about your interests and learning needs
Meetings held via Zoom - After the Intake, our team will let you know the recommended Clinical group and help guide you with any additional support groups and/or recreational clubs
- At this point you can let us know if you would like to move forward with joining myLIFE for the upcoming session
- A “Welcome” email will be emailed to all with pertinent information about the session
myLIFE Application
- Individuals who attend one of the myLIFE Information Meetings will receive a follow up email with our full application packet
- Individuals who are not able to attend one of the myLIFE Information Meetings may contact us via email to request application materials

- $100 (covers the Application and the myLIFE Intake)
Tuition/Fees
myLIFE Fee Information
- myLIFE members and their families pay out-of-pocket.
***Limited need-based financial aid is possible – myLIFE Application and Subsidy application MUST be submitted at the same time
- myLIFE members may use their DBHDD “self-directed” waiver dollars to pay for myLIFE
- myLIFE members engaged with GVRA may contact their VR Counselors to see if they can get authorization to pay for myLIFE under “Workplace Readiness.”
*myLIFE members / their families are responsible for ensuring that Waiver or GVRA services are in place to pay for the myLIFE session. Our Billing Team is happy to work with staff at either of these organizations once you have set everything up.
