Anuj was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, attending the University of Georgia where he studied biology and minored in Español. He then attended the Emory University School of Medicine, where his interest in neuroscience flourished. He investigated the relationship between retinal amyloid and Alzheimer’s disease, with hopes of determining whether retinal imaging could be used as a viable screening tool for early AD detection. He also has an interest global health, participating in two international electives in the Himalayas while in medical school. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, hiking, tennis, ATL sports, patio gardening, and photography.
