STAR stands for the Study of Treatment And Reproductive Outcomes and is an HIV cohort study for women of reproductive age. STAR seeks to answer questions related to the effects of HIV infection and HIV-related medical conditions on women of reproductive age. The “reproductive age” includes women between the ages of 18-45 years and are encouraged to enroll, regardless of your HIV status. The STAR Study will look at social, psychological, and biological factors that impact HIV and reproductive health outcomes among women living with HIV.
