Plan ahead!
Engagement with the site PIs should begin as early as possible in advance of the grant-funding deadlines for feasibility assessments on-site/multi-site participation, data acquisition, specimen collection, operational logistics, equipment needs, compliance/oversight, and effort.
Grant related requests should be placed at least 6 weeks prior to any submission deadline, for the Atlanta site to consider ‘engaged’ in the grant proposal.
- Send a written request to the Atlanta site PIs: Dr. Igho Ofotokun and Dr. Anandi Sheth
- Copy the site Project Director: Antonina Foster in this request
In this request indicate:
- Grant type
- In the request indicate if you propose to collect new data and/or specimens
- Any equipment needs
- SOW/Staff effort and enrollment need (multi-site/single-site enrollment)
- Lab involvement
- Draft budget/site costs (Subcontract)
Letter of Support
An approved MWCCS Concept Sheet (CS) is required to obtain a Letter of Support. It is highly recommended that you submit for review a Concept Sheet related to your proposed grant 3-6 weeks BEFORE your grant submission deadline.
Additional Grant development resources are available upon request.
