Graduate Research Assistant

Rikki Thomas is a recent graduate of Emory Rollins School of Public Health, earning an MPH in Global Environmental Health and certificates in Genetic and Molecular Epidemiology and Infectious Disease Epidemiology. Rikki fulfills the role of Graduate Research Assistant for the Emory-Nigeria HIV Research Training Program. Her research interest lies in addressing the intersection of climate change, humanitarian crises, and infectious disease outbreaks, as well as gene-environmental interaction (epigenetics). Tackling social determinants of health and structural barriers to access and equity are also a part of her work.
