Overview
Dr. Lom joined the Emory faculty in 2013 as a member of the division of General Internal Medicine and practices primarily at Grady Memorial Hospital. After receiving her medical degree from the University of Connecticut in 2008, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University in 2011. She practiced as a hospitalist for 2 years in New York City before returning to Emory in 2013. Dr. Lom has an interest in both medical education and hepatitis C. Her interest in hepatitis C is apparent through her work in the Grady Liver Clinic where she focuses on screening patients for hepatitis C, linkage to care, and treating patients with chronic hepatitis C. She is involved in numerous research projects through the liver clinic. Dr. Lom serves on the Education Community steering committee as well as the Department of Medicine Faculty Development Committee.
