The Department of Microbiology and Immunology

M&I Postdoc Club:

The M&I Postdoc Club serves to foster community among the postdocs and scientists in the Department. The Club meets monthly during Fall and Spring semesters to share ongoing research, prepare for job interviews, learn about career opportunities, and celebrate successes. An annual Symposium allows postdocs and scientists to present their research to the entire Department and invite a renowned scientist for a keynote address.

Attending Chalk Talks:

The Department recognizes that chalk talks from faculty applicants offer a valuable learning opportunity for our junior trainees seeking future academic positions. Our postdocs and scientists are welcome to attend these chalk talks via Zoom as observers. Contact Jenny O’Neil to request access for each chalk talk.

Postdoc Awards:

The annual “Stojiljkovic Travel Memorial Fund” awards the achievements of a Department postdoc. Nominees are solicited from Department faculty.
