Jenny Han
Overview
Dr. Han completed her undergraduate at Northwestern University and began her caregiving career as a substance abuse counselor for teenage girls. She went on to become an EMT and paramedic before attending medical school at Ross University, completed Internal Medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital, as chief medical resident, completed fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Emory University, as chief fellow. In addition, she obtained her master's degree in science at Emory Rollins School of Public Health. At Grady Hospital, she is the Medical Director of Respiratory Care Services and Medical Director of Long Covid Clinic Collaborative and associate Medical Director of Emory Medical Intensive Care Unit. In addition, she is member of Emory University Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and chair of Women in Critical Care American Thoracic Society. Dr. Han actively participates in teaching medical students, residents and fellows at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Hans research career has focused on defining the relationship between host immunity in immunocompromised patients with respiratory infections and has focused her clinical and research interest in defining and treating long COVID patients. She is multiple principal investigator and co-principal investigator on several federally funded Long COVID clinical and research grants.
