Applications evaluation criteria

  • Primary Care Relevance - The degree to which the application convincingly describe the primary care focus
  • Significance/Impact Emory Benefit - The degree to which Emory benefits by the proposed funded activates. For example, attendance at this conference will help the student to better advocate for primary care and increase student interest in pursuing careers in primary care fields.

Submitting funding requests

All funding requests must be submitted four weeks prior to the date of the event. Submissions should be emailed to pc.consortium@emory.edu with #PCCSponsorship in the subject line.

The SC reviews requests for funding provided under this category, after receipt of a completed LIPD funding request proposal. Every student or group has the right to submit an appeal of the decision of the PCC SC to the Emory Primary Care Consortium Director.

After completion of each LIPD activity/event that is sponsored, the learner is required to submit a completed Emory Primary Care Consortium LIPD Funds Reporting Form.

For all approved conference attendance, the learner is required to submit:

  • Scholarly abstract
  • Photo of themselves in front of their poster or title slide.

Communication of events/activities

The Emory Primary Care Consortium will highlight all PCC-sponsored activities/events through communication channels including quarterly PCC newsletters, the PCC website, the PCC Annual Report, and various Emory social media accounts.
