Medical Toxicology Teaching
Fellows have ample opportunity to participate in teaching activities and refine their teaching skills. After participating in the training courses above, fellows subsequently become instructors for some of the courses such as:
- AHLS
- Radiological Preparedness and Emergency Response
- PrOUD
- Nuclear Plant Emergency Response
Furthermore, fellows are frequently invited to give lectures on core content material to Emory University residents and fellows in:
- Emergency medicine
- Internal medicine-psychiatry
- Pediatric emergency medicine programs
- Give monthly lectures to Morehouse MICU
- Participate in lectures for CDC's public health preparedness program aimed at various public health responders.
Georgia Occupational and Environmental Toxicology Clinic
- Evaluates patients on a weekly basis
- Only Association of Occupational and Environmental Clinics (AOEC) affiliated toxicology clinic in the Southeastern United States
