Clinical Commitment
Fellows are expected to work approximately 8 shifts per month as attending physicians at Emory University Hospital Midtown or Emory University Hospital.
Practicum Experience
The practicum experience includes placement with a health policy-focused organization of the fellow’s choosing. The goal of the experience is to make significant contributions to an ongoing project, research, and/or legislation that is impactful to the field of health policy and medicine at the local, state, or national level.
Education
Each fellow will be encouraged to pursue a degree, certificate, or coursework in health policy at the Rollins School of Public Health or other graduate programs at Emory. Additionally, fellows will be expected to participate in journal clubs and relevant speakers’ series.
Research
Fellows may collaborate with faculty members on research projects of interest.
Professional Development
Fellows can be sponsored to attend conferences pertaining to their interests in health policy. Personalized leadership and professional coaching will be provided throughout the fellowship.
