FIRST Application Form

Prior to submitting your online application, you must

1. identify a research mentor that you have discussed possible research opportunities with virtually or in person,
2. the research mentor has agreed to fund your stipend and fringe during the initial year of your fellowship, and
3. the research provides a letter stating they will fund the initial year of your fellowship (see below).

The FIRST program will then fund years 2-4. Failure to identify a potential research mentor prior to your application submission will result in your application not being reviewed.
