She/Her/Hers
Kathleen Loughran (she/her/hers) is a third year psychiatry resident in the Emory University General Psychiatry Residency Program. She received her MD from the Drexel University College of Medicine. Prior to pursuing medicine, she worked as a ghost writer in Washington DC after graduating with a degree in art history from the Pennsylvania State University. Clinically, Kathleen is interested in early childhood trauma and how it affects people’s development, mental health and emotional processing. Following residency, she hopes to complete a child and adolescent fellowship so she can work more closely with children, teenagers and young adults.
