Danielle Currin is a sixth-year doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is currently completing her doctoral internship at Emory University School of Medicine on the General Track. She received her BS in Psychology in 2016 from Yale University, and her MA in Psychology in 2019 from the University of California, Los Angeles. Danielle’s clinical interests involve providing psychotherapy to underserved populations coping with persistent mental health concerns using elements from a variety of evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. Her research has focused on identifying relationships among different types of cognition (such as working memory, risky decision-making and social cognition) in individuals experiencing clinical and subclinical levels of psychosis and other mental health concerns.
