Brittany Borzillo, PsyD, is a Psychology Postdoctoral Resident at Emory University School of Medicine. She holds a BS in biology and BS in psychology from the University of Georgia; and an MS and PsyD in clinical psychology from Mercer University. Borzillo completed her doctoral internship at the Institute of Living, positioned within Hartford Hospital. She is an integrated clinician who utilizes different approaches to therapy to tailor her approach to each patient or group. She works to maintain culturally-informed and trauma-informed practices, as she believes these are essential to approaching individuals as whole people, and has specific training in health and wellness. Borzillo integrates her views about wellness and prioritizing the self into her own life by engaging in enriching activities like cooking, baking, crafting and gaming. She also takes extra time to rest, when necessary either mentally or physically, as pacing is an important tool for all individuals to integrate into their life.
