Sophie Arkin is a postdoctoral resident in the Emory University School of Medicine Psychology Postdoctoral Residency Program in Health Service Psychology. Sophie earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles and completed her APA-accredited predoctoral internship at Emory University School of Medicine. She received her MA at New York University and her BS at the University of Georgia. Her research interests focus on improving healthcare systems for traditionally underserved populations by addressing organizational factors, such as healthcare worker wellbeing. Clinically, she is interested in working with individuals with complex clinical presentations and healthcare workers embedded in community settings.
