Providence Mpano is a fourth-year student at Georgia State University, where he is majoring in Psychology and pursuing a pre-medicine track. Fascinated by the brain, he studies broadly the effects of stress on the body, both mentally and physically, and the correlation between stress and socioeconomic status. He is also interested in fundraising efforts on his campus and in metropolitan areas that provide free medical, dental and surgical services to communities, as well as up-to-date knowledge on care methods for patients. After graduating, Providence plans to obtain his MD in Psychiatry in order to continue contributing to underserved communities in America through his practice. In his free time, Providence enjoys singing, playing the piano and the ukulele.
