Lexi Bortnick is a rising senior at Emory University majoring in Psychology with a Spanish minor. She is from Atlanta and spent many years serving the Metro Atlanta community. Lexi’s community engagement has informed her passion for psychology and specifically the inequities in mental health care and the barriers to accessing adequate treatment. She hopes to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology and work with women and children from marginalized communities who have experienced trauma. Lexi is also involved in research on campus and studies autobiographical memory in children. In her free time, Lexi helps lead a student-led mental health club and loves going on long runs.
