Gabrielle Brown is a third-year doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology PhD program at Auburn University. An Atlanta native, she earned her Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Emory University and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Vanderbilt University. Gabrielle's research interests include teletherapy utilization, mental health service accessibility, dismantling health disparities and the connection between applied psychology and health policy. She hopes to utilize her knowledge as a public health scientist and her experience with the Nia Project to investigate methods for improved mental health interventions for Black Americans. In her spare time, Gabrielle enjoys drinking tea, reading and spending time with friends and family.
