
Janelle S. Peifer, PhD, LCP, is the Co-Chair of the Nia Project Community Advisory Board. She is an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Richmond. She is also a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of The Center for Inclusive Therapy + Wellness. Dr. Peifer earned her PhD in Clinical and School Psychology from the University of Virginia and completed her post-doctoral fellowship with the Grady Nia Project. She is an alumna of Wake Forest University. Her research focuses on college student development, emphasizing identity, culture, mental health and complex trauma.
