Falak Hussain is a fourth-year Clinical Psychology doctoral student at Mercer University, committed to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care. She has provided therapy and assessment services across multiple practicum settings, including Medlin Treatment Center, Georgia Psychological Associates and the Nia Project at Grady Health System. While at Nia, Hussain facilitated individual and group therapy for individuals impacted by trauma, suicidality and intimate partner violence. She is currently continuing her training at the Atlanta VA Medical Center’s PTSD Clinic.
