Cherrelle Gipson earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts - Boston and completed her clinical internship at Emory University School of Medicine. Her training has focused on health equity, mindfulness and relational psychotherapy with marginalized populations. She has worked in diverse settings, including interdisciplinary medical teams at the University of Chicago’s Pain Medicine department and HIV care at Emory’s Ponce Center. Her clinical and research interests center on culturally responsive intervention and assessment, collective healing and the use of creative and mind-body approaches in healing. She is currently completing her postdoctoral fellowship at Psychological Dimensions, where she specializes in psychological assessment.
