Interviews
Interviews are required and are by invitation only. Once the application and letters of recommendation are submitted, you may be invited for an interview. Interviews for the 2025-2026 academic year will all be virtual. These virtual interview days will begin in the early morning and last until mid-afternoon Eastern time. The day consists of a program overview presentation, attendance at morning conference, interviews with faculty, and a private meeting with current fellows.
The purpose of the interview is to permit the candidate to discuss the program and its philosophies with faculty. It also provides the candidate an opportunity to meet representative faculty. Please let us know in advance if:
- there is any specific faculty member that you have a particular interest in meeting
- there are personal needs (i.e., spouse employment, schools, etc.) that should receive special attention on your interview day
Interview Arrangements
We use the program Thalamus for all interview scheduling. This program provides a secure and reliable connection to our availability and communications.
Once selected to interview, candidates will be sent an email inviting them to schedule their interview through Thalamus. Once a candidate clicks the link, they will follow the proper steps for scheduling. The website easily shows interview date availability and a Smart Calendar for flexible scheduling.
