Climate Change and Health Equity

Climate change is the long-term shift in temperature and weather patterns that is resulting in a myriad of health effects. The inequitable effects of climate change will inevitably worsen health disparities unless we strengthen the adaptive capacity of vulnerable populations.

Research at Emory GIM partners with faculty, residents, local and global communities to reduce the impact of climate change on the health over vulnerable groups.
