Emory Johns Creek Hospital’s door opened in 2007 as a 110-bed Multi-Specialty community hospital. The Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) work 10-hour shifts and see all acuities in the Emergency Department. The strong working relationship between the physician staff and the APPs has proved invaluable in the delivery of an excellent level of care to Emory John Creek Hospital patients. The hospital is a certified Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center.
The department has expanded as our demand has grown. The Physician’s Assistant staff accounts for evaluating and treating 40% of patients that present to the Emergency Department.
