Overview
Dr. Hall is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, serves as Director of Clinical Trials, leads the Emergency Neurosciences Lab + Trial Operations Core, and co-directs the Emory Critical Illness Research Center (ECIRC).
He served as co-principal investigator of the ENRICH clinical trial a landmark national study for hemorrhagic stroke patients, and is co-principal investigator of the Rapid Evacuation and Access of Cerebral Hemorrhage (REACH) Trial and Registry. The goal of REACH is to advance and expand minimally invasive surgery to other types of hemorrhagic stroke.
As a clinical trialist, his research is focused on designing and operationalizing life-saving therapies for patients with acute emergencies and critical illness, with an emphasis on neurologic emergencies including hemorrhage stroke, ischemic stroke, traumatic brain injury, and seizures. He leads the Strategies to Innovate EmeRgENcy Care Clinical Trials Network (SIREN) clinical trials network hub at Emory, funded by the National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) and the National Center for Advancing Translational Science (NCATS).
