Biography
Originally from outside Chicago, Matt attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate where he studied Microbiology and Evolutionary Anthropology. He then completed a post-baccalaureate fellowship at the National Cancer Institute before moving to Atlanta. He is interested in infectious diseases and plans to join the Population Biology, Ecology and Evolutionary program to study microbial evolution and genetics. While not in lab or clinic, he can be found running, hiking, and traveling.
