The Georgia Occupational and Environmental Toxicology Clinic evaluates patients weekly at Grady Memorial Hospital and is staffed by several board-certified and board-eligible medical toxicologists.
Services provided by the clinic include:
- Diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from a wide variety of occupational and environmental diseases, poisonings, and exposures to hazardous substances
- Unique expertise in the assessment and management of radiation exposures and heavy metal toxicities (occupational and environmental). It is the only outpatient clinic member of the Association of Occupational and Environmental Clinics within a 400-mile radius of Atlanta
- The clinic receives referrals to evaluate patients from all over Georgia and the surrounding states. Since 2019, the Georgia Occupational and Environmental Toxicology Clinic has participated in the national network that cares for members of the World Trade Center Health Registry
To schedule an appointment in Emory Emergency Medicine's Toxicology Clinic, contact the scheduling team at (404) 616-0013.
If the referring provider is outside Grady, a fax referral should be faxed to (404) 489-6080 and contain the patient information as well as the Toxicology Complaint or Diagnosis that justifies the evaluation.
