The Emory Neurotrauma Translational Research Center (ENTiRE) is dedicated to advancing discovery, development, and translation of novel treatments for neurotrauma by engaging in collaborations that build upon diverse perspectives, knowledge, and skills. Research is conducted with rigorous quality standards and transparency to improve replication and translation.
A Driving Force to Accelerate Discovery and Translation of Treatment for Neurotrauma
The ENTiRe team specializes in the use of high clinically-relevant preclinical TBI and SCI models for discovery, development, and translation of new therapies to protect and repair the brain and spinal cord, enhance plasticity, and restore function after TBI or SCI and treat neuropathic pain. The team conducts studies from early-stage target and drug discovery, to engagement and efficacy studies, to scale-up and translational research. The focus is on disease-modifying therapies. We can collaborate at any stage of the process to accelerate discovery and development. ENTiRe has certified professionals for the use of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), certified Quality Assurance professionals, and conduct most studies using near-GLP standards.
