The Emory University Master of Medical Science Program in Anesthesiology is a concentrated graduate medical education program in the Emory University School of Medicine. Leading the way for 50 years, the Program annually accepts qualified individuals who desire to undertake rigorous didactic and clinical education in order to become knowledgeable, skilled certified anesthetists. 

Our Mission

The Masters of Medical Science Program in Anesthesiology at Emory University trains highly competent anesthetists who practice in the anesthesia care team model, providing a broad spectrum of anesthesia care to patients with all diseases and severities of illness. Graduates of the program are held to the highest standards of professionalism and service to patients and the community.

Our Vision

The Masters of Medical Science Program in Anesthesiology at Emory University will transform students into anesthetists through training focused on building a foundation of basic science and fundamental skills, and the judgment necessary for the safe and efficient delivery of anesthesia. The Anesthesiologist Assistant Program emphasizes effective communication skills, scientific literacy, and a scholarly approach to life-long learning.

CASAA file status will indicate-  VERIFIED -  Complete evaluated official transcripts, test scores and ALL required items and supporting documents are processed and VERIFIED in CASAA on or before close of business 5:00PM. Please be aware of CASAA document processing timelines.

Emory Supplementary Supporting Document are received – See the  checklist - print, complete and mail the checklist items - before close of business 5:00PM.

Both applications will close for the 2020-2021 cycle.
